Some links I've enjoyed throughout the week, that I hope you will too:
- Shaolin Qigong 15 Minute Daily Routine
Something I've started to incorporate into my mornings. Verdict: So far, I've felt calmer and more appreciative of the boundaries and capabilities of my body. I've also had to face the fact that I have the attention span of a goldfish.
- Colors by Shwilliam
A lovely site by William, who offers you a wheel of delectable colours once you've input your HTML hex code in. I recently used a screenshot of the wheel as a visual in a content strategy plan I've been developing for a podcaster.
- The Anarchist Library: The Carrier Bag Theory of Fiction by Ursula K. Le Guin
A fascinating short essay on the use of the bag as the first real human tool, story, and marker of cultural evolution. Le Guin juxtaposes the "Heroic killer" and his weapons against the soft and meditative quality of the bag, and takes a few Neolithic jabs at the patriarchy. Good stuff.
